Pretty new purchases

With Spring just around the corner, I'm looking forward to shedding all those Winter layers and wearing something a little lighter and prettier, so with that I mind, I decided a little shopping trip was in order:

How cute is this New Look necklace? For years I've shunned gold jewellery, but it actually suits my skintone better than silver and the necklace looks lovely when worn with a simple vest top.

Whilst out shopping, I also picked up pair of bow patterned tights from Primark. I've been wanting a pair for ages, and because these aren't sheer, they'll be perfect for the cold British weather!

I also treated myself to some new clothes from H&M and New Look which I'll be blogging about later in the week.

Are you looking forward to a new wardrobe for Spring? What have you brought recently?

  3. I'm getting more into gold, but I think it's staying away from the really yellow kind that's important. It used to look horrible on my red-toned pale skin, but the antiqued effect looks really nice. Pretty necklace and really adorable tights. I got some beautiful coral beads from NL last Summer that I love, need to head in there again!x

  4. StellieStellina - You know, I've never thought about the different shades, but you're right, there's bound to be some shades that are more flattering than others. I'm really liking rose gold atm. Have fun shopping in New Look x

  5. I love that New Look necklace :-O It's actually the second New Look bought necklace I've seen someone blog about, and you have now convinced me that I need to head over to New Look! Not that I needed an excuse of course!

I really love quirky jewellery like this, and there seems to be a lot of places selling it now, especially online, which is very good news :P

  9. Vanity-Fashionista - They're fab aren't they. I love that they're thicker than most patterned tights so you don't have to wait until Summer to wear them! Silk blouses are lovely, and so easy to wear as well x

Following your blog is going to seriously make a dent in my already huge bank overdraft! I'm surprised by how pretty some of the jewellery was in New Look...and Primark!
