July's Glossybox - Ready, steady, glow

Blink +Go ultimate strip lashes in Tease
Weleda pomegranate regenerating body oil (full size 100ml)
Ciate nail enamel in mojito (full size 13.5ml)
Illamasqua pure pigment in Tingle (full size 1.3g)
2x Etat Libre eau de parfum (1.5ml)

Themed 'Ready, steady, glow' this box aims to get you looking your best this summer. Unlike May's Glossybox, July's box is more personalised with some people receiving an Illamasqua lipgloss instead of the pigment and others receiving a Xen tan sample instead of the perfume.

This month, Glossybox have definitely upped their game and there are 4 full sized products to try out. The only product I was slightly disappointed in was the Ciate nail varnish as it's not a colour I'd use, but the other 4 are lovely and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of them.

From September, Glossybox will be charging £2.95 p+p per box, however if this box is anything to go by, the value of the products will still far exceed all subscription costs.

Did you sign up for this month's Glossybox? What do you think about the products?

  1. I also received a glossy box and my post is actually guesting on Lauren's blog http://www.alaurentoherself.com/

I received Xen-Tan but it's in dark, so not something I can use. Shame about the polish for you xx

  2. Computergirl- I read your post last night and thought it was very well written. Even though I'm not a fan of the polish, I'm still really happy with the box. It's amazing value considering you'd pay £10 for everything. Shame you can't use the Xen tan but it's good that you like the rest of the box x

  3. I need to look into getting one of these boxes ! I actually think that nail varnish looks quite a fun colour :)

  4. Daisy - There are loads of blog reviews if you want to look into it more. It's a nice colour, but I'm just not sure about green nail varnishes lol. I may use it for some nail art x

  5. I got different lashes and nail polish to you, I also got the Illamasqua lipgloss and Xen Tan rather than perfume samples. I probably won't use the Xen Tan and I already have the Weleda body oil but nobody can say it's not good value for money this month!

  6. Becky - Definitely, this month's box is such good value for money. I've seen 2 other shades of nail varnish and another set of eyelashes as well. I guess they're personalising them a lot more x

  8. This looks like a big improvement on last month's box. I actually quite like the colour of the nail polish although I saw a few yellow ones in other boxes so seems like its a way for Ciate to get rid of some of the less popular colours. Still good value for £12.95 though! x

  10. LilyLipstick- There was a gorgeous shimmery red one in some boxes but you may have a point. Definitely good value though considering the other products in the box x

  11. I loved my box too and the response has been far more positive but of course not every product will be to everyones taste, so in honour of that I've set up a swap shop on facebook so that any glossyboxers or lovers of beauty in general can offer to swap their products for something they'd prefer. I've blogged about it, if you're interested!x

  15. What was June's Glossybox like? You never told us! I wanted to join but then heard people it was starting to disappoint and they were adding charges. Boudoir Prive is another similar company. Have you heard of them? I missed out of joining for the first box as it's full up. So now I'm gonna wait and see what it's like before signing up.

  17. Oh I also got the Ciate nail polish in 'Mojito' in my box & completely understand what you mean about the colour. However I'm excited to try it out now as it's so far away from what I'd usually choose for my nails!

  27. Wow looking at this post and Maria's post I didn't realise how different each box is!

I had different products too, like the powdered metal! Aww I prefer Maria's nail polish colour, but then the colour I got isn't a colour I would normally by so it's good to stock up for nail art designs :)

    Here's what I got:

  28. Kitten - There was definitely more variety in this month's box than I originally realised. I'm sure the powdered metal will come in handy and your perfume sounds fab x
