September favourites

How is it October already?! I know I say this every month, but this year really is going by far too quickly! As I haven't had a chance to blog much recently, I thought I'd start off this month with a round up of some of my September favourites:

Caudalie divine oil
Since my last body lotion ran out, this has been my moisturiser of choice. It contains 4 different oils (grape, argan, hibiscus and sesame) as well as grape polyphenols and shea butter. As it's oil, it does take a bit longer to sink in, but it never feels greasy on the skin, and I love the subtle nutty scent. Whenever I use this, my skin is left feeling super soft and nourished. Everything about the product feels luxurious, and they've even got little grooves in the glass bottle so that it's easier to hold and non slippery (perfect if you're accident prone like myself!).

Neom luxury organics Harmonise candle
These last few weeks I've become obsessed with scented candles (I'm convinced I work better when I've got one burning on my desk) and this scent is perfect for the colder Autumn days. It's a beautiful blend of pine, cedarwood and eucalyptus, and like the Invigorate candle, it's so strong that even unlit it's enough to fragrance my desk. I find this scent particularly spa like and relaxing. Best of all, Neom candles are made with 100% vegetable wax and essential oils so there's no need to worry about harmful pollutants or ugly soot marks.

Trilogy everything balm
This is one of those multi use balms that great for keeping on my desk. The product looks and feels a lot like Vaseline, but it's packed with a whole host of essential oils ( marula, rosehip, olive, evening primose, jojoba and wheat germ) as well as honey and vitamin E. During the day, I like to use this as a lipbalm and cuticle oil, and at night time it's great as an intensive hand cream. I find the herbal aromotherapy scent very calming and it's currently being sold with a really cute candy striped Christmas wrapping.

Oral B 3D white toothpaste
I've always been a bit sceptical about whitening toothpastes, but since using this I've noticed that my teeth looks brighter, especially under certain lights. The toothpaste has a light minty taste (although not as strong as my old Colgate one) and like all good toothpastes will help to protect against plaque and tartar formation.

Clinique even better eyes dark circle corrector
September was a rather stressful month for me and this quickly became an essential part of my morning routine. The rounded metal applicator was so soothing and cooling and the actual product nice and hydrating. It is tinted, however I found it to be very sheer and used it more as an eye cream rather than a concealer. The lotion has a slight oily feel on application, but it soon sinks in and is a good base for any eye make up. I've not noticed a dramatic difference in my dark circles yet but I do like it as an eye cream and hopefully over time it will help to lessen their appearance.

Bourjois effet 3D lipgloss in 08 Framboise tonic
Finally one of my most reached for lipglosses. It's a beautiful hot pink shade, feels super moisturising, has a subtle shimmer and is non sticky on the lips. I find the colour really helps to brighten up my face, and for a lipgloss, it's surprisingly long lasting. I've previously reviewed this, so click here if you'd like to see a swatch.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your September favourites?

  1. I've been using the Oral B 3D too and I love it. Leaves my mouth tingly, minty fresh and I can see a different in the whiteness of my teeth.
