Giveaway: Royal Albert china teaware set

Something a little bit different today. Royal Abert china have spent the last few weeks travelling around London as part of their free vintage afternoon tea tour, and today they've kindly offered to give away this lovely teaware set to one lucky reader:

The tea ware set (worth £40) comes from their Polka blue line, and contains a super pretty tea cup, saucer and plate, perfect for an homemade afternoon tea!

For your chance to win this beautiful set, simply be a GFC follower of Peonies and lilies, then leave a comment below telling me what your favourite teatime treat is. For 3 extra entries each, simply follow me on Bloglovin, like my Facebook page, or Tweet about this giveaway.

The giveaway is open to all UK residents (Non-UK readers, I promise there'll be an international giveaway soon) and will close at 12pm on 14th October 2012.

Finally, if you'd like to visit the van and enjoy some free afternoon tea, cakes and macaroons, then be sure to pop along to Spitalfields this Friday (5th October) 11am-5pm. Do let me know if you're planning on coming along as I'll hopefully be there around lunchtime.

Good luck!

  13. The perfect teatime treat has to be a brew of Vanilla tea from The Tea Shop in Covent Garden, accompanied with a slice of Battenburg, Laduree’s rose macaroons and a slice of homemade Victoria sponge with fresh strawberries and cream. Perfection.

    Love Laurel x

My favourite indulgent treat is a slice of Morrisons' lemon sponge with fresh cream - light, tangy, delicious! But I also love a nice thick slice of tiger bread with proper butter, that makes me feel like I'm in the 1940s!

Love, love, LOVE victorian sponges, especially those homemade kinds where you can slather on tons of buttermilk filling and yummy jam.
