NOTD - Essie no more film

Essie isn't a brand I'm familiar with, but I have to say, I am very impressed with this polish:

I'd describe it as a beautiful navy purple shade. The formula is thin and easy to work with, but most impressively it's so pigmented that one coat was enough for full opacity.

The polish dries to a smooth glossy finish, the dark colour looks effortlessly chic and it's the perfect contrast to my pastel spring tops.

On a side note, how gorgeous is the new Essie Wedding collection? Now I won't be walking down the aisle anytime soon, but I am seriously lusting after the pink 'Like to be bad' and the lilac 'Love and acceptance' nail polishes.

Are you a fan of Essie polishes? What other colours would you recommend?

  4. I haven't tried Essie nail polishes yet because they are quite difficult to get hold of in the UK. But after seeing this post and how you said that it is quite pigmented and one coat is enough as well as easy to work with the consistency, I think that it is worth giving it a try :) and the lilac colour in the collection is so pretty! Thank u for sharing x

  5. I'm not familiar to Essie neither, I just have one nail polish from this brand, but I love it.

By the way, I've made some big changes on my blog, including my blog name and url. Check it if you want!

    1. I know Superdrug Marble arch stock it, I think some Boots stores do too. Otherwise, you can try online? x

  7. Really gorgeous navy color! Wish I'd seen this before, would have looked great with a navy dress I wore today! I'm not a huge fan of Essie, but I do love some of their brighter shades (esp. their new Summer 12 collections!).

    1. Oh no, maybe you can get it for next time? For some reason I associate Essie with pastel shades, but I'll definitely take a look at the new summer colours x
