Can you believe it's February already? January seems to have whizzed by in the blink of an eye!

I've never been much of a Winter person, so I'm liking the fact that temperatures are getting warmer and the days longer.  Another plus is that there are lots of exciting new SS13 make up collections launching soon. I'm currently obsessed with Illamasqua speckle (even if it is a pain to remove!) and Clinique will soon be launching a new Chubby stick shadow tint for eyes.

Throughout January, I made a real effort to eat better and exercise more. I suspect though that this weekend has undone a lot of my hard work. It was our 6 year anniversary of Friday, and to celebrate, we ended up going out for dim sum, Thai food and cocktails! Still I guess it was a special occasion and hopefully I can get back on track next week.

One of the highlights this week was going to see The Bodyguard at the Adelphi theatre. I'll be doing a full review soon, but it was nice to get back into west end musicals. When I first arrived in London, I saw The sound of Music and Phantom of the opera, and this show has reminded me just how much I used to enjoying musicals. I'd love to go see more, so do let me know if you have any recommendations :)

How are you getting on with your healthy eating/fitness routine? Did any of the new beauty launches catch your eye?

  1. Looks like you've been up to so much recently and those bourjois lipsticks look so neat and tidy in that lipstick holder~ So cute. I'm really excited and want to try the Clinique chubby sticks for the eyes because i've always wanted to try the NYX jumbo pencils but it's hard to get hold of them in the UK~ Hope you have a lovely week! 1. Thanks Ying! It's been a busy but fun few weeks. It's a shame NYX isn't more readily available here, but the new Clinique chubby sticks are fab, I'll be doing a full review and swatches soon :) Hope you have a lovely week too x
