B make up and skincare

Last night, I was introduced to B, a new make up and skincare brand which will be launching this Spring. Here's a sneak preview of some of their products:

B make up primer,  foundations, concealers, pressed powders and blushers

B eyeshadows, vibrant eye shimmers, eyeliners and mascaras

B skin phase 1 - designed for 20-30 year olds to help
protect against the first signs of ageing

There is also a rather nice Micellar water, which retails for a purse friendly £4.99. Having had a quick play with the products, I'd say, quality wise, they're on par with other high street brands. Packaging is basic, but the formulas are nice and their make up nicely pigmented.

Whilst there, I also had the chance to get my nails done. This winter, I seemed to have lost interest in experimenting with my nails, instead preferring to go for classic, fail safe colours. So not surprisingly, after a quick browse I was instantly drawn to B complete long lasting nail polish in Ruby.

There's just something so sophisticated and lady like about having red nails, and I love the fact that Ruby is a true classic red. For a £6.99 nail polish, Ruby was surprisingly pigmented, and if I was at home, I could have easily gotten away with just one coat. Drying time was about average for a nail polish, and it has nice glossy finish.

Price wise, B is comparable with other high street brands. Prices start at £3.50 for the 4 in 1 cleansing wipes, and goes up to £15.99 for the B boosted peptide rich elixir. The products will be available exclusively in Superdrug stores, and online at bisforbeautiful.co.uk.

Did any of the products catch your eye? What's been your favourite nail polish this winter?
